Lorenzo Looking For First Brno Victory

Although Lorenzo had a good record on Brno when he was on 125 cc and 250 cc level, Jorge Lorenzo never win MotoGP there. Last season, Lorenzo crashed and make out form disputing with Valentino Rossi. Now this weekend, Lorenzo has set his sights on consolidating his substantial MotoGP lead by wins at Brno.

After ten days holiday in the Caribbean for rest and fun, Lorenzo looking to break his Brno podium duck this weekend, to protect his 72 points lead.

"The holidays were perfect,” he said. “Ten days in the Caribbean for rest and fun, charging the batteries for the second half of the season. I needed it because the calendar has been busy in the last month and now I can focus on the rest of the season."

“We are going to Brno, a track I like and where I've won three times, but never in MotoGP. I haven't even got a podium here and this is my challenge, my first podium in the second part of the season and in Brno. Czech Republic is a nice country, with amazing people at the race and also the track is impressive, fast and with some good hills.

“After the race I will stay in Brno to try something new on the bike, something to improve our bike until the end of championship. Good place to restart!"
