Radical Change for 2012 Testing Rules?

Reports have circulated within the last two weeks that MotoGP will see radical changes to its testing rules starting in 2012, and Italian publication Moto Sprint reported that the new regulations will be unveiled next weekend at the Grand Prix of Valencia.

Reports have it that every team can select one "test track," at which it can conduct unlimited days of testing. The only restriction is the number of tires allowed to each team per season.

If true, the cheer from Ducati headquarters in Bologna will be heard even on this side of the Atlantic.
