Claudio Costa, a legendary doctor in the motorcycling world, has decided to pay homage to Marco Simoncelli with a book recalling some of the feats of the fallen rider.
The book is divided into two parts. The first, called"Il sogno del dinosauro" ("The Dream of the Dinosaur"), tells various stories of riders who pushed their personal limits in the name of sporting glory. Among those discussed are Mick Doohan, Loris Capirossi, Wayne Rainey, Alex Zanardi, Shoya Tomizawa, Marco Pantani and, of course, Simoncelli.
The second part, titled "La Vittoria di Marco" ("Marco's Victory"), from which the book takes its name, talks more specifically about "the secret victory that Marco gifted to everyone. The victory of his smile, his family, his youthful enthusiasm, and his immortal spirit which didn't want to surrender to the icy handshake of death."
