Following a meeting of the Grand Prix Commission composed by Carmelo Ezpeleta (Dorna CEO), Ignacio Verneda (FIM Sports Director Executive), Herve Poncharal (IRTA) and Takanao Tsubouchi (MSMA) with the presence of Javier Alonso (Dorna), Mike Trimby (IRTA) and Paul Butler (Secretary of the meeting), last December 14 in Madrid were deciding to take the rims of all Moto3 competing in the World 2012.
The following are the measures chosen by the Grand Prix Commission.
Front: 2.50 "x 17"
Rear: 3.50 "x 17"
All Moto3 race in the first historic world class entries must comply with these new measures decided by the FIM Grand Prix Commission.
