Video: Valentino Rossi and Tavullia help promote motorcycle tourism in the Marche region

Last February thanks to an agreement between the Province of Pesaro and Urbino and Valentino Rossi’s Fan Club, the Tourist Board has opened a small tourist point inside Rossi’s Fan Club in Tavullia.

The President of the Province Matteo Ricci, wanted to take advantage of the numerous Rossi’s fans who flock to the Italian champion’s home town of Tavullia, but then return to the Emilia Romagna region and instead try to get them interested in the beautiful sights that the Marche region also has to offer.

The’ve come up with this promotional video for motorcycle riders that takes them from Tavullia to the principal attractions they can visit like Sassocorvaro, Urbino, Pergola, il Furlo, Fano, Pesaro, San Bartolo and then back Tavullia.

After the jump, you can see the inauguration (sorry, only in Italian) with Valentino Rossi doing the honours.

Mugello MotoGP: the party never ends

The MotoGP race at Mugello is certainly the Italian Grand Prix motorcycling excellence. The circuit is one of the most loved by the pilots, not just Italians. The number of San Donato, Poggio Secco, Casanova-Savelli, Arrabbiata 1 and 2, Scarborough, palace, Correntaio, Biondetti 1 and 2 and Bucine are not only "curves" of the Tuscan track, but gathering places and celebration taking place during all weekend. Nolan Christmas Party With Jorge Lorenzo

It's a Christmas party from Nolan Helmets with their sponsored riders and also celebrate Jorge Lorenzo’s MotoGP title, and instead of giving the rider the usual and somewhat expected special edition helmet or trophy gave him a painting by Ludmilla Rachenko.

Also attending the party were Marco Melandri, Carlos Checa, Vitto Guareschi, Franco Battaini, David Checa, Matteo Baiocco, Danilo Petrucci, Michele Magnoni and Daniele Beretta.

Flashback: Misano 2009, Colin Edwards, Nicky Hayden And Alex de Angelis Crash

Last year at Misano, Colin Edwars, Nicky Hayden, and Alex de Angelis involved in a crash. Hayden look so angry with that situation. This drama was happened at the start of the first lap. Alex de Angelis hit Colin Edwards with the crash also taking Nicky Hayden into the gravel and instantly ending the race for all three riders.

However, Edwards was in no mood for sympathy and described De Angelis’ riding as unacceptable. The Texan fumed, “I thought I had the pace to easily be fourth and maybe fight with Dani Pedrosa for a podium but we are in Italy and occasionally you have to deal with an Italian rider who wants to be a hero and today that was De Angelis. Turn one at the start with 17 bikes is not the place to be going at race pace and he was never going to make through there. Today De Angelis is the guy who needed to be wearing Valentino’s donkey helmet.” Yes, at Misano 2009, Rossi wearing a donkey helmet. Donkey is a sign of stupid animal with a dumb brain.
