Rossi vs Stoner on Ducati Motorcycle Auction



Ducati announces the auction in Monaco on 11 and 12 May two exclusive bikes, one with which ran GP10 Casey Stoner and GP11 of the piloted by Valentino Rossi last season.

Built on the Ducati factory in Borgo Panigale from 7 to 11 December 2009, the Ducati Desmosedici GP10 or "CS1" was first tested on the test bench the 14 December 2009 before being piloted by Stoner in Sepang in February 2010. Stoner first competed with the CS1 in Qatar in April 2010, getting her victory in the Grand Prix at Phillip Island in Australia in October 2010. The bike auction got the pole in Qatar, Australia and Valencia, with podiums in Australia, Valencia, Assen and Catalunya. His last GP was in Valencia in November 2010 after having recorded a total of 4232 kilometers.

The Desmosedici GP11 or "VR2" was mounted on Ducati auctioned from 6 to 10 December 2010, passing the test two days later. The first track test of the VR2 was held in Sepang test February 2011 and first competed in the Grand Prix of Qatar next year. He earned a podium at Le Mans in May 2011 and participated recently in Assen, after having recorded a total of 2,342 kilometers.
