Alvaro Bautista has announced on his Twitter account Wednesday morning will undergo surgery to remove the screws that were applied in the left leg injury suffered in Qatar.
According to the pilot, will use these days off to undergo the procedure at the hands of Dr. Angel Villamor, who removed the nails applied during this operation and clean the entire affected area. Alvaro was injured during the Qatar GP free, first of the season, and he underwent emergency in Doha, an operation which was complicated and had problems all season.
Alvaro has written in his teitter: "Well, at home after spending all day in Madrid. In the end I'm going to remove the screws I have in the leg of the operation in Qatar." The new Team Honda Gresini rider explained that "on Wednesday will come to surgery with my doctor and friend Angel Villamor, will leave me again! Take the opportunity to rest a few days."
