A large group of World Championship riders took on one another on in a karting pre-event at the Sepang circuit on Thursday.
British 125cc rider Danny Webb came out on top in a karting challenge that was undertaken by a group of World Championship riders at the Sepang circuit on Thursday, in a pre-event ahead of the Shell Advance Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix.
In a ten-lap race the Mahindra Racing rider took victory by a margin of just over 12 seconds ahead of Moto2’s Ricky Cardús, with Italian Moto2 rider Andrea Iannone completing the top three.
MotoGP rider Colin Edwards watched on with great interest as other riders including Bradley Smith and Sandro Cortese also took part, and you can watch highlights in the attached motogp.com video.
