In honor of Marco Simoncelli, the “Monza Rally Show” has created “Area 58”, a display featuring the Honda RC212V and the helmet of the fallen rider. Behind the bike will be a blank wall where fans can leave messages for "Sic".
Simoncelli participated in the rally event last year, finishing in 16th place after suffering from mechanical issues. This year his friend Valentino Rossi will be joined by fellow bike racers Andrea Dovizioso and Andrea Iannone, and the special "Master Show" portion of the event has been renamed the “Trofeo Marco Simoncelli.”
