On Saturday 3rd March, Madrid will host the presentation of the Repsol team as a prelude to the Madrid Indoor Trial event, a round in the 2012 World X-Trial Championship that is led by the Repsol rider Toni Bou. The Palacio de los Deportes in the Spanish capital is the venue that will see an afternoon filled with spectacle and motorbike passion with all the team members participating.
The event will count on the presence of the 2011 World MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner and his teammate Dani Pedrosa; the runner-up in Moto2 Marc Márquez; and the up and coming Repsol riders, Maverick Viñales, Miguel Oliveira and Álex Rins, accompanied by the CEV winner (Spanish Speed Champion), Álex Márquez. All of them will be there to support the Repsol Trial team in a decisive round of the World X-Trial Championship.
The presentation will start at 5pm with a press conference and then the presentation of the Repsol riders that will race in the 2012 MotoGP Championship. The presentation of the riders will take place at 8pm, in an act that will include a light-show and more than one surprise.
The first to appear will be the team`s youngest riders, Repsol`s bet on youth: Maverick Viñales, Miguel Oliveira, Álex Rins and Álex Márquez. Immediately after that it will be the turn of the World Champions Marc Márquez, Dani Pedrosa and Casey Stoner.
The climax of the afternoon`s excitement will come when the Repsol trial stars Toni Bou and Takahisa Fujinami dressed in the team colours will go out onto the circuit to take part in the fourth round of the 2012 World X-Trial Championship to delight the fans who have been waiting to see them.
