Barberá: "We need to refine the details, but I’m satisfied"

The final day of testing in Malaysia ended on a strong positive note for the Pramac Racing rider thanks to improved weather conditions that allowed the team to work productively on Thursday.

Héctor Barberá completed the day as the fastest Ducati rider on track at Sepang with an excellent sixth fastest time of 2’01.231. The result was very encouraging for the Pramac Racing team, who appreciated being able to see how the times and the performance of their rider improved on par with the work being done in the box.

At this test, the team worked with both bikes, focusing on developing two types of set-up, chassis, suspension, electronics in search of the best possible mix for racing.

Today's result created a solid foundation which the team will build upon at the next Official MotoGP™ Test at Jerez on March 23rd.

Hector Barbera, Pramac Racing
"I am very happy with this final day. The feeling with my Ducati is getting better every test and I'm beginning to understand how to use the throttle that has a very different response from the 800cc of last year. The behavior of the bike is quite good, but we still need to refine some details to improve race pace. I can only be very happy with the result today, thanks to an excellent understanding with the team. "
