Rossi: 'a few more years in MotoGP, then rallying'

Valentino Rossi has given his strongest signal yet that a four-wheeled future will follow his MotoGP career.

Fresh from the back of his Monza Rally success, where he came 2nd to rallying legend Sebastien Loeb, Rossi said: "Getting ahead of Loeb in two specials really turned me on... I'll do a few more years in MotoGP, then I'd race in rallies."

Rossi is well known to the four-wheeled community from his other four-wheeled antics. While he did test a Ferrari F1 car with impressive times, F1 fanatics said he wasn't quick enough and now, at 32 his chances of making the F1 grid are incredibly slim.

While it's clear Rossi has the talent to match his passion for rally driving and a deep-down thirst to win, rallying could come sooner than we'd have previously thought if his 2012 season with Ducati mirrors his 2011 experience.
