Cal Crutchlow on Birmingham Motorcycle Live Show



Cal Crutchlow gave motorcycle racing fans a close look at his MotoGP Yamaha as the 2011 Motorcycle Live show got off to a spectacular start. The Monster Yamaha Tech 3 star brought his machine onto the main stage at the NEC in Birmingham before starting up the 800cc YZR-M1 in front of a packed crowd.

Crutchlow’s Grand Prix compatriots from the lower classes also made appearances on stage with Moto2 riders Bradley Smith and Scott Redding joining 125cc youngsters Danny Kent, Danny Webb, Harry Stafford and Taylor Mackenzie.

Britain’s finest Superbike riders added to a star-studded opening to the nine-day event with Leon Haslam, Leon Camier, James Toseland and Tom Sykes from the World Championship joined by British Superbike Champion Tommy Hill and World Supersport title holder Chaz Davies.

Throughout the week, a host of activities will be on show for the public with two-wheel taster sessions in the Get On Arena, off-road experiences, on-road test rides and trials riding. Experts will be showcasing their talents in the Ramp’d Up Freestyle Motocross Arena while more racing stars and biking celebrities will be showing their faces before the curtain comes down on Sunday 27th November.
